Therapy is a personal journey within itself. I believe self-care and mental wellness is a rite of passage. As a former college professor and physical healthcare provider, I understand the importance of wholeness. I enjoy working with clients from all backgrounds including the underserved and marginalized population. I work with all groups including couples, individuals, children and teens. I also work with
single moms, moms and dads of children with autism, PDD, sensory disorder and vision loss. Other areas of expertise extend to depression, anxiety, IPV, Career challenges/changes and self-esteem. I have extensive expertise in women services including Labor & Delivery and postpartum depression support.
My clinical knowledge and professional background have afforded me the opportunity to assist clients with the challenges they are facing. I utilize many different strategies to assist clients through their journey of healing. We all have a story and it is important to write and tell our story the way in which we see it and desire it to become. In the therapy room I take a Narrative and collaborative approach that affords clients to feel safe and supported. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, gardening, nature walks, traveling and music. I have four college age
children that are finding their way through life.

As a Licensed Graduate Marriage and Family Therapist I love to work with families, couples, and individuals. I specialize in working with clients who may be experiencing behavioral issues, ADHD, depression, anxiety, or trauma. I am also passionate about working with teens or young adults as they develop their own personalities and prepare to launch into adulthood. My main goal for the therapy process is to create an empathetic, safe, and authentic space for the family, couple, or individual to grow and find their strengths and abilities to live life to their fullest. Working from a Structural Family Therapy model I take pride in helping families discover and adjust their roles, dynamics, and patterns for a positive living experience at home through essential change. I also enjoy utilizing an attachment-based approach with couples along with strategic concepts to help solve goals and help provide tools in moments of conflict.

With almost five decades of life experience, 20+ years as a mom to a child who has autism and is non-verbal, and 18 years of classroom experience as an elementary education teacher, I offer a broad perspective of understanding and experience. This includes relationship challenges, trauma recovery and PTSD, sexual abuse, anxiety/depression, stages of life, and autism.  I am most passionate about providing support to parents of children with special needs, those enjoying their retirement years, and those who have little contact with loved ones due to distance, hospitalization, or long-term care. As a Licensed Graduate Marriage and Family Therapist, I understand how families have generational connections and utilize a systemic approach to therapy. My versatility, curiosity, and openness allow me to offer services to individuals, couples, families, the LGBTQIA+ community, and those with life experience and wisdom. I possess ease in developing respectful relationships, understand resiliency, am very optimistic, and always want to learn more about people and how I can support them on their journey.
